Abstract EN

This paper aims at recognizing the role of the educated in developing the Egyptian village.

This study is based on the descriptive method and the method of social sample survey, the sample consists of the educated people inside the village of Mazora, Somosta, the governorate of Beni-Suef as it is the most educated village according to The Central Agency for Mobilization and Statistics.

The sample included 250 specimen, males and females with different educational benchmarks through an interview format as a means of collecting data.

The case study has been used through studying 10 cases of illiterate villages depending on the SPSS program in analyzing data The study reveals the positive role of the educated in the village in developing it by resisting superstition and Vendetta and Fendo.

They helped the villagers to vote in elections.

The study also proved the inability of the educated to persuade the villagers of the importance of birth control, Learning new crafts, or helping the villagers become culturally open-minded.
