The research aimed at investigating the effect of Using geometric sketchpad and in enhancing the geometric sense skills and visual thinking skills in mathematics of the sixth year primary stage students in Fayoum Governorate
The sample of the research was (92) students divided into two groups: an experimental group (46) student.

and a control group (46) students.

In order to achieve the aims of the research, the researcher reformed the unit of (geometry and measurement) assigned in the student book published (2017 _ 2018) second term, in the light of merging and making use of the principles of geometric sketchpad
The researcher also prepared two tools which are: a test in geometry sense and the other is a Test for measuring visual thinking skills in mathematics.

After proving the validity and reliability of the research, the researcher conducted the experiment on the Sample of the research (experimental - control after Finishing the study of the unit and applying the tools of the research the research showed the following results:
1) The students of the experimental group outperformed the students of the control group in each of: the Test of geometry sense skills and the test of visual thinking skills in mathematics.

There were statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group in the post administration of both tools
2) There is a statistical correlational relationship (strong direct relation) between geometry sense- skills and visual thinking skills in mathematics of students off the sample of research
In the light of the findings of the research, the researcher recommends the following:
1- Making use of geometric sketchpad principles in learning and teaching mathematics in different educational stages
2 - Connecting mathematics to the environmental life of the student through establishing geometrical constructions related to the life of the student including some practical enriching activities in mathematics curricula in lower years
3- The necessity of preparing Training programs for teachers that includes principles of making use of geometric sketchpad for enhancing their teaching performance
4 -Preparing programs and conducting workshops for enhancing geometry sense in general and visual thinking skills in particular in mathematics of Primary and preparatory stages students.

In the light of the findings of the research, the researcher figured out that the geometric sketchpad is considered one of the most prominent interactive geometric programs and because of its outstoncling educational benefits, the researcher recommends studying its effects on some other variables numely; various thinking styles، other categories of students and other educational stages
