الرعاية النفسية للطفل في المنظومة الصحية بالجزائر: الواقع والرهانات

Abstract EN

This research aims to identify the state’s efforts to promote child health, especially psychological and mental health; and to provide data and informations that can be used to select the best ways to improve the quality of psychological and mental health care for children.

This leads us to ask the two following questions: What are the state's efforts in planning and structuring the health system to ensure good psychological and mental health for the child? What is the statue of the child's psychological and mental health under this health system? To answer these questions, we conducted a descriptive analytical study based on surveys and informations gathered from follow-up committee reports and from health users, also, through the experience that we gained for 20 years in the field.

The study has revealed that, although the efforts made, decision makers need to do more efforts to fill many gaps in order to achieve the desired goals, related to psychological and mental care for children.
