Abstract EN

This scientific article seeks to know closely the role that is played by vlogging in promoting the Algerian cultural heritage through the visual content which the content creators broadcast on YouTube.

The two researchers have completed an analytical study on the digital presence of the Algerian cultural heritage through analazing the content of an intentional sample, consisting of fifty-four Algerian video blogs active on YouTube, in which their owners present audiovisual content about the Algerian cultural heritage.

After the researchers applied a content analysis form on the form and content of these vlogs, they came to a set of scientific conclusions, the most important of them are: Vlogging has succeeded to a large extent in presenting the diverse Algerian cultural heritage in a beautiful, artistic way despite the simplicity of potentials and lack of training, and it helped define the Algerian tangible and intangible heritage.
