The research aims to identify (the effect of the logical alignment strategy on the achievement of fifth grade primary pupils in mathematics and the development of their mathematical thinking).

The research sample consisted of (69) pupils from the fifth grade of elementary school distributed into two groups and by (34) pupils in the experimental group and ( 35) A student in the control group, and parity between these two groups was made in a number of variables (chronological age calculated in months, previous achievement in mathematics, mathematical reasoning test) .The researchers prepared the achievement test, which in its final form consisted of (24) objective paragraphs of the type of choice.

The validity and reliability of the test was verified, and after applying the test to the research sample and statistically analyzing the results using the statistical package (Spss), the results revealed the superiority of the experimental group that studied using the logical alignment strategy and in light of the research results, the researchers presented a set of recommendations, including encouraging teachers Mathematics is based on using modern strategies and not being restricted to one way in teaching to raise the level of academic achievement, while the researchers suggested a set of proposals, including studying the impact of a proposed training program For mathematics teachers on how they use modern strategies to improve their academic achievement and develop their mathematical thinking.
