Abstract EN

This Study constitutes an attempt to reveal an important fact in events of the history of the Modern Arab Gulf focusing on the maritime conflict between Portugal and the inhabitants of the Arab Gulf in the sixteenth century.

The present study included two topics dealing with the geographical exploration movement in the east and the Portuguese attempt to head east and discover new ways of trade as well as through the Red sea and Arab Gulf under Arab Islamic control and his attempt to destroy Arab economic life.

As for the second topic, Portuguese Control of the Arab Gulf in the sixteenth century and their brutal methods against the local population by the leader.

The response of the population to confront the Portuguese through the local resistance.
