In this paper, we proposed and analyzed a new two-step iterative method double false position method without derivatives in order to solve non-linear equation for a single-diode of a PV cell.
We proved that the new proposed method with two-step iterative method could be regarded, as an alternative and modified method is accurate and efficient with a lesser number of iterations compared with the standard method NRM.
