Handball is one of the group games that are characterized by a large number of goals and points, and competition is continuous and characterized by the rapid rhythm and its continuous and continuous maneuvers that require observation and wide field of view depending on the speed of performance, which is closely related to the physical and physiological level of play coupled with the skill aspects, so the process of building a model to evaluate the requirements Physical and physiological variables are nothing but evidence of the scientific progress made in the field of handball.

Hence the importance of the research, a model for evaluating the physical and physiological requirements that differ from its predecessors from the performance requirements, where the evaluation of the player is according to the requirements of the physical and physiological performance in each test and according to the correlation of each requirement with other requirements, in order to facilitate the task for our training cadres working in the field of handball to know the level of For their players in an accurate and comprehensive manner for all physical and physiological performance requirements.

As for the objectives of the research, it is to study the relationship between the most important physical requirements and physiological measurements, designing two models to evaluate the most important of those requirements for handball players, and the descriptive approach was used in the survey method and correlational studies to cope with the nature of the problem to be solved.

The two researchers identified the research community by an intentional method, and they are the Iraqi clubs players (the southern region) for the excellent class in handball, the category of applicants for the sports season (2018), where the number of clubs reached (8) by (79) advanced handball players registered in the records of the Central Iraqi Federation for football.

As for the most important conclusions, the scores related to the physical requirements and the physiological measurements achieved for the individuals of the research sample are identical to the five ideal levels set by the researcher, and based on what the achieved scores of the research sample individuals brought, two models were developed to evaluate the handball players through which indicate the strengths and weaknesses of their performance in Physical requirements and physiological measurements under study.

The most important recommendations emphasize the need to work on developing the special physical requirements for handball players when developing training curricula that will contribute to raising the physical and functional level of the research sample, the need to use the two models for the purpose of specialized evaluation (according to physical requirements and physiological measurements) in stating strengths and weaknesses.
