Abstract EN

The research centered on the mechanism of employee appraisal in Iraqi universities – especially in Al-Mustansiriyah University, by Using the annual form to performance appraisal for the University members, The research divided in tow sections, the first section contained the theoretical side which showed the contemporary methods of performance appraisal, and the more important tools which used in performance appraisal.

The second section contained the analytical side by using the questionnaire which distributed among the University members.

Depending on results the researchers subtracted the conclusions which was at the forefront the failure of appraisal form in some items of it.

The researchers submit a number of recommendation to correct those items.
