The study aimed to identify the degree of appreciation of students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Zarqa University for their awareness of the concepts of scientific research and its applications from their point of view, based on their study of scientific research courses taught at the college.

The study community was represented by students enrolled in three majors in the college, namely: class teacher specialization, library and information science major, and kindergarten specialization.

An analytical descriptive approach was used which is best suited for this type of studies, through a questionnaire prepared for this purpose, and it was distributed to the entire study community (110) male and female students, and (96) questionable questionnaire accounted for (87%), to show their viewpoint Towards the reality of studying scientific research methods between the theoretical side and the applied side.

The study reached a set of results, including: that students are aware of the elements of scientific research and its procedures to a very large degree, while the degree of application and skill acquisition is medium and weak, respectively.

The study also found that there are statistically significant differences due to the specialty variable and for the benefit of the class teacher section.

The study made several recommendations, including: working to enhance research applications, and encouraging students to do applied research.
