This study investigates students’ learning styles and blended learning satisfaction at the School of Physical Education/ University of Jordan, Also, examines the differences in students learning styles and Blended Learning satisfaction according to academic courses.
Furthermore, relation between students’ learning styles and their satisfaction of blended learning approach was investigated.
A random sample of the study consisted of hundred undergraduate students enrolled in the three courses: sport psychology, recreation and life skills, and teaching methods (n= 41,43.16) respectively.
The data was collected using the modified VARK scale and the Blended Learning satisfaction scale.
Data was statistically analyzed.
Results revealed that students acquired different learning styles.
The most common learning style was the kinesthetic followed by the visual.
Also, students reflected a high level of blended learning satisfaction in all three courses.
No significant differences occurred in the students’ learning styles and blended learning satisfaction.
Furthermore, a positive relationship between auditory and visual learning styles and the blended learning satisfaction occurred in the recreation and life skills course, while an inverse relationship between the write learning style and blended learning satisfaction in the Teaching methods course.
Finally, there was no statistically significant relation between learning styles and the blended learning satisfaction in sport psychology course.
The researchers recommend that learning styles and the type of course should be taken into consideration when developing blended learning curricula
