The current thesis aims identify (Effectiveness of Counseling Program with a Realistic Treatment Method in Developing Self-Freedom for Preparatory School Students): 1.
There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the grades of the experimental group before implementing counseling program and its dimension on the scale of self-freedom.
2.
There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the grades of the control group before implementing counseling program and its dimension on the scale of self-freedom.
3.
There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the grades of the experimental group and the control groupin the post-test on the scale of self-freedom.4.
There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the grades of the experimental group and the control groupin the post-test and delayed on the scale of self-freedom.
The current research is determined by the students of the Preparatory School for Morning Study at Center District of Dejail related to Governorate of Saladin for the academic year (2018-2019).
Also, the researcher implemented counseling program in (realistic treatment method) according to Theory of choice for (Glasser), and was performed through counseling program prepared for the purpose of self-freedom developing achieving validity of counseling program through exposing it to a group of specialists in the field of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance assuring that the test is valid about (80% ), thereby achieving the facevalidity of the scalein (14) counseling sessions about (3) sessions in a week with a a duration of (45 minutes) for each session lasting for (6) weeks.
The data were statistically treated using (kai- Square, Pearson correlation coefficient, T-test for two independent samples, Kolmogorov-Smirnovtest (K.
S.
), Alpha-Cronbach equation, Mann Whitney for two independent samples, Wilcoxontwo-correlated samples, and weighted mean, and percentage weight).
The results showed that counseling program in realistic treatment method is effective in developingself-freedom for Preparatory School students.
The researcher presented a group of recommendations and suggestions.
