Abstract EN

The history of the Iraqi communist party attracted the attention ofresearchers and many theses and dissertations dealt with the history of theabovementioned party since its establishment.

Besides, most of themconcentrated on the political aspects and its role in the Iraqi patriotic movementuntil 1979.

Although many studies were concerned with the history of the Iraqicommunist party, they did not highlight other important aspects of the partysuch as the intellectual and social structure of the party and the minorities thatjoined the party concerned including Jews, they were described as the one ofthe most significant minorities that had an influence in the intellectual path ofthe party in a very important period of the party, it was in the forties of thetwentieth century.

It gave a crystal clear clarification towards the role of IraqiJews in the communist party and their adoption of the left-wing thoughts not tomention their extremist views in presenting its thoughts.

The researcher divided the paper into: introduction, preliminaries andhe depended on the chronological order of the Jews role in the Iraqi communistparty and their leadership of party's central committees in the light ofwidespread arrests that impacted communist party leaders.

Moreover, thisperiod was known as the period of Jewish domination towards the Iraqicommunist party and defining its stances and paths towards the internal andArabian issues like the Palestinian cause, the Jews were in favor of dividingPalestine in 1947 and establishing the state of ((Israel)) where it highlightedthe situation of Jews in the Iraqi communist party.
