The construction of Mubarak Seaport will negatively influence on the Iraqi economy due to its associated position with the Grand Faw seaport project, which will be constructed within a narrow sea lane, namely Khour-Abdullah that is lead to Umm-Qasr seaport as an existed port since 70 years.

However, The Grand Faw seaport will lose about 60 percent of its economic value to the Iraqi economy.

In addition, the shallow water in Umm Qasr seaport will restrict it and let it only receives small ships.

Therefore, Mubarak seaport in Kuwait is considered a biggest challenge faced by the Iraqi economy and politicians alike.

It could negatively affect the relationship between Iraq and Kuwait, and lead to serious results regionally and internationally.

Hence, Kuwait must take into consideration the international principles and criteria represented by international agreements and the general principles of the International Security Council.

Thus, the Iraqi economy is faced disadvantages caused by Mubarak Seaport.

Based on that, this paper investigates the suitable solutions between the two countries, Iraq and Kuwait that can lead to end the conflict in a peaceful way.
