This study aims to know the regional and international competition around the Eastern Mediterranean region, which is one of the most vital and strategic areas in the world due to its vast natural wealth of oil and gas, as well as its geographical location that connects most of the world, with the increasing discoveries of oil and gas in the region Eastern Mediterranean conflict and regional and international competition over these resources has increased as a threat to stability in the region, which threatens to stimulate and encourage conflicts and their renewal, such as the Turkish-Cypriot and Israeli-Lebanese conflict, in addition to the tension in the Egyptian-Turkish relations, there are many indications that affect the future of competition for energy and the Eastern Basin region.

The Mediterranean, whose initial features have begun to be defined, and its results and consequences have cast a shadow over the escalating level of tensions between the countries bordering the Mediterranean basin, especially Egypt, Greece, Israel, Turkey, Cyprus and Lebanon, and that this competitive scene has become the most expressive evidence of the map of new regional alliances in the region and the struggle of regional centers over these Large oil and gas resources, whose productivity exceeds the level of Gulf and Russian production.

The research dealt with four topics preceded by an introduction and a theoretical framework, where the first topic dealt with the geographical location of the eastern Mediterranean region and its economic and geopolitical components, while the second topic dealt with the strategies of regional and international players in the eastern Mediterranean, while the third topic dealt with the regional conflict over the demarcation of maritime borders in the eastern Mediterranean.

As for the fourth topic, it dealt with the future of the regional conflict in the Eastern Mediterranean and concluded with the most important conclusions.
