Extremism takes many forms between extravagance and deviation from traditional outward behavior, such as criminal operations carried out by terrorist gangs.

This calls on all of us, teachers and students, to think about concrete practical steps.

Since university students are the foundation of society and its main pillar, and they are the wealth of nations, the façade of the homeland and the fortified fortress of its security, and ensuring its psychological, social and national stability.

Therefore, we must develop an appropriate vision for the process of extremism, sensitize them to its dangers, or be drawn into extremist ideas that are alien to society and establish pride in belonging to the homeland, which comes from finding healthy formulas in Several treatments, some of which can be summarized as follows: 1 - Integrated education, and not being satisfied with the written information available to the student, but there must be mechanisms for academic advice through specialized professors that any student can turn to them to solve his problems with the subjects he studies.2- The national and regional dimension in eliminating groups that believe in extremism, and the need to deal with political forgiveness in a serious way or what is called impartial national reconciliation, and forgetting the past.

We have the German experience after World War II as an example of this.3- Spreading moderate moderate thought through activating the programs and culture of civilized dialogue, stressing the importance of building the human being (student) in his thought and direction.4- Urging and educating university students on the dangers of social networks, WhatsApp / Facebook, Twitter, Viber, Messenger, used by extremist groups and their prevention, and avoiding extremist ideological thought, and the family bears a large part of this responsibility.5- Embrace university students and listen to their demands and dialogues, whatever they are, and then direct them with kindness and link their specialized studies and society in a way that guarantees them to walk the homeland forward.6- The necessity of spreading the spirit of peaceful coexistence among university students, with the urgent need to activate the role of the family in this 07- Opening the way for students to participate in educational seminars on the topic of extremism8- Coordination between Iraqi universities to exchange experiences and learn about the latest methods in combating and refuting extremism that affect comprehensive development in Iraq.
