The increase in the population in general and in the cities in particular and the improvementof the living situation led to an increase in the demand for basic commodities، which result inan increase in the amount of waste offered and this requires processing and disposal in safeand healthy ways and at the level of available inputs.

They may also become an economic resource if they are recycled and reused to benefitfrom materials (plastic، paper، glass) Ha recyclable and use.

Solid waste refers to the residuesof materials that are not needed by their owners and they want to be disposed of.

It means allthe residues، such as food residues، fruit peelings، leaves، keratin، empty containers، watercans and juices، which culminate in the visit.

The problem is that the waste can be used afterrecycling.

The statistics announced by the Directorate of the Municipality of Karbala، the holylifting of more than fifty-two thousand tons of waste during the visit to the forty.

The aim of thestudy was to uncover the amount of solid waste in the city of Karbala during the forty years visitand to know its types and the possibility of recycling and then use new materials after recyclingcan be useful according to type and extent of suitability and as a result economy in the sourcesof natural or natural، as well as its role in the operation of a large number of hands Working inthe collection and sorting.

The idea of solid waste recycling in the Karbala governorate duringthe 40th visit is one of the most important things that fall within the management and treatmentof solid waste which depends on the quality of waste during the visit.

Therefore، recyclingis used in many other purposes that may be industrial or fertilizer used in land reclamationAgricultural or energy source as well as its economic and environmental benefits، it is one wayto reduce the rate of depletion of natural resources.
