Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the impact of feedback on the variables of sensory-motor perception among the swimmers applying for the license of water rescue from the Center of Youth Leadership Preparation.

The study sample consisted of (20) students of those willing to obtain the license of water rescue from the Center of preparing Youth Leadership belonging to the Jordanian Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The researcher used the semi-experimental approach in applying the sensory-motor perception tests for distance and time.

The study results showed that there are statistically significant differences between the pre and post-measurement in favor of the post-measurement as well as differences in the level of sensory-motor error regarding time, distance and perceived effort (intensity) among the study sample individuals, where the sensory-motor perception error reduced after providing the feedback to the study sample individuals.

The results also showed that there are non-statistically significant differences for the means of belly crawling swimming for 25 meters with a mean of (27.15) and a standard deviation of (0.92), while the mean of belly crawling swimming for 100 meters was (2.12) and a standard deviation of (4.01).

The researcher recommended of using the methods of feedback and integrating them with sensory-motor methods due to their positive impact on performance.
