The choice of Motilal Nehru's character stems from his being one of the Indian national figures who had an important and influential political role during the era of British control over India.

The importance of Motilal Nehru's role is not limited to his role in political life through the Indian National Congress or Swaraj Party, but rather to his societal role as being a lawyer, in addition to defending Indians and adopting their cases in front of the British authority, also to what Motilal had left of clear political and social legacy on his son Jawaharlal Nehru and his granddaughter Indira Gandhi, who ruled India after its independence from British control in 1947.

The information about the character under study is rare and it is hardly ever stated.

This means that writers and historians neglect the historical importance of this character which didn't get what it deserves of study.

From this standpoint, the choice of the subject of Motilal Nehru's character comes as a modest contribution to reveal the secrets of a folded page of India's history, the aim of which is Shedding light on the political and social role of Motilal Nehru and his position in the history and political memory of India, since many books and sources that dealt with research on the history of India revealed many signs confirming the existence of deep and clear imprints of that personality on the political level, especially in the period 1919-1930, which represents the peak of his political activity and at the same time it represents the summit of the violent conflict between India and Britain for the sake of obtaining autonomy and independence.

This character associates with the first political activity in India, namely the founding of the Indian Congress Party in 1885, which was the nucleus of independence in 1947, which constituted an impetus to search for his biography and political activity.
