Abstract EN

The study sought to identify the prevalent personality factor among adolescent students in Irbid and their level of self-efficacy.

The study also sought to identify whether there were differences in the bullying levels due to gender, grade level, and Grade Point Average (GPA), in addition to identifying the predictive ability of the big five personality factors and self-efficacy of bullying among adolescent students.

The study sample consisted of 137 male and female students at public schools in al-Taybeh and al-Wastiyah districts in Irbid Governorate.

To achieve the goals of the study, the Parada bullying scale (2000), the big five personality factors (translated by Azzam (2017)) and the Muris (2001) self-efficacy scale were used.

Results of the study showed that the prevalent personality factor in adolescents was the neurotic factor, and that the level of self-efficacy was moderate.

In addition, it was revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in bullying levels due to gender, grade level, or GAP.

Results also showed that agreeability factor was the strongest predictor of bullying among adolescent students.
