The reality of the private sector in Iraq has been studied using the private sector indicators which are (the size of private investments, the ratio of the contribution of private investments to the GDP, the number of public hands in the private sector, the size of fixed capital formation in the private sector, and the percentage of the contribution of private investments to total exports) and the most important The results that were reached are that the private sector indicators were very low due to the ence of an appropriate investment climate, political, economic and security instability, weak private sector work, poor productivity and inflexibility of the productive apparatus, weak financial position for the Iraqi investor, and the limited financial rules of the banking system.
