Abstract EN

It is known that Muwatta Imam is the owner of a book of jurisprudence and hadith on which he includes what is true from the Prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and from his Companions and his opinions on jurisprudence.

It is also known that the book served a lot In terms of investigation and explanation and has not served a fundamentalist perspective yet.

So this research tries to highlight the fundamental features of the jurisprudential rooting method of Imam Malik links his jurisprudence views which based on it, thus, the study aims at clarifying the concept of juristic rooting and the Imam Malik's approach of rooting the contemporary issues of the jurisprudence.

For the nature of the study I followed the inductive and analytical method, and I have come to the finding which was represented in presenting the Qur’an as a first principle in the rooting process in the Imam's book
