Abstract EN

The present study aimed to identify the nature of the correlative relationship between creative problem solving and mathematical Literacy among mathematics teachers for the preparatory stage, and in order to verify the goal of the study, the researcher followed the relational descriptive approach, the study community consisted of teachers and female preparatory school mathematics teachers affiliated to the Baghdad Education Directorate, Rusafa First The research sample consisted of (150) teachers and a school of (58) teachers and (92) schools specializing in mathematics for the preparatory stage belonging to the secondary and middle schools in the Baghdad Education Directorate, Rusafa Al-Aula.

Creatively, consisting of (30) items of (15) of the essay type and (15) items of the objective type, as well as the mathematical Literacy test consisting of (42) items of the objective type, appropriate statistical analyzes were made for the two test items and the psychometric properties of them were verified.

After relying on statistical tools to analyze the results of applying the two tests, the results showed the following: 1) The research sample members have the acceptable limit of creative problem solving.

2) The research sample has an acceptable level of mathematical Literacy.

3) There is a strong and positive correlation between creative problem solving and mathematical Literacy.

In light of the results of the research, a number of recommendations and proposals were made for those concerned in the field of scientific research and in the educational field.
