The media, especially the press, play an Essential role in influencing readers.

These media outlets form perceptions, support policies and ideas, increase public knowledge, change attitudes, adjust their behavior, and raise public and gender awareness of various issues, including issues of moderation, extremism and terrorism.

Media is a major responsibility in dealing with the phenomenon of extremism and terrorism in exchange for a moderate media policy that urges moderation, and the tolerant teachings of our true Islam.

The events of April 2003 and the fall of Iraq under foreign occupation and the collapse of its governmental institutions have made the events of Iraq an environment suitable for the emergence and growth of terrorist groups and as a base for launching to the Arab countries and the countries of the world.

Therefore, there is a need to analyze the characteristics of the media practice of this phenomenon in order to know the features of the press treatment of this phenomenon and promote the values of moderation in the Arab press discourse.

This research aims to identify the characteristics of the Arab press in dealing with the issues of moderation and extremism, and to identify the differences in the treatment of the Arab newspapers under study, ie the practical study of the Arab press discourse towards issues of moderation and extremism in the Arab world.

Time has seen many political transformations and important events, especially after the US occupation of Iraq and the changes that have made on the Iraqi and Arab political arena, and its aftermath of Arab revolutions, including many Arab countries including Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Syria.

The emergence of extremist organizations and their proliferation and occupation of large areas of the territory of important Arab countries, as happened in Iraq, Libya, Yemen and Syria, Sutfer from the extremism of these groups, to the general results of the study that can be used in future studies.
