Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the application degree of the comprehensive quality management standards in private universities in Jordan, from the teaching staff members point of view.

The study sample consisted of 150 faculty members randomly selected from private universities.

The researcher designed a fifty-nine-item questionnaire involving seven areas.

To find out the answers of questions of the study, the researcher used the mean scores, the application degree and rank of each item, and each area of the study.

The study results revealed a high degree of the implementation of the comprehensive quality management standards in private universities in Jordan.

There was a descending order of the degree of the application of the comprehensive quality management standards in the seven areas as follows: information, analysis, human resources utilization, production quality assurance, leadership, strategic planning, quality results, consumer satisfaction.

The results also showed that there is a high degree of the application of comprehensive quality standards in private universities in Jordan administration in the areas of leadership, information and analysis, strategic planning, utilization of human resources and quality assurance.

The study put forward a number of recommendations.
