The main aim of this thesis is to conduct an analytical study of intellectual security dimensions in the content of the fifth primary social studies book in Iraq.

The study population including the content of the fifth primary grade for the academic year (2019-2020).

The researcher has excluded (the introduction, table of contents, questions, images, figures and the exercises at the end of each chapter).

In order to achieve the aim of this study, the researcher has prepared a tool to analyze the content of primary social studies book according to intellectual security dimensions, which made up of (5) dimensions and (30) indicators after reviewing the literature reviews and the previous studies and then these indicators have been presented to some jury members and specialists of EFFL, in order to give their views and comments on it, according to their views, the researcher has added and removed some items by depending on the used tool, by analyzing the content of primary social studies book according to intellectual security dimensions.

To confirm the reliability of the analysis, the researcher used the analysis method by using another analyst and by using the Holsti equation, the reliability coefficient between the researcher and the other analyst was (87% ).

The researcher analyzed the content again with a time difference between the two analyzes (twenty-two days) and the reliability coefficient between the two analyzes was (93% ).

The researcher used the idea and topic as elements of analysis because these elements are appropriate to the study aim and the nature of the content analyzed, and the analysis was done according to established principles and steps.

In order to show the results, the researcher used the frequencies and the percentage frequencies of intellectual security dimensions, The researcher has recommended that: Emphasis on the curriculum of the social studies book on the intellectual security.

The educational curricula should be subject to review for development and improvement by the Curriculum Writing Committee at the Ministry on a regular basis.

The researcher has suggested that: Conducting a similar study in the intermediate first and second grades in social studies book.

Conducting a similar study in the preparatory grades in social studies book.
