Abstract EN

The study aimed at revealing the degree of Kuwait University’s application to the dimensions of social responsibility based on the foundations of the productive university from the viewpoint of academic leaders, faculty members and community leaders.

the descriptive analytical methodology was used.

the study sample-in its three categories-consisted of (404) individuals.

the results of the study indicated that the degree of Kuwait university’s application to the dimensions of social responsibility based on the foundations of the productive university from the academic leaders, faculty members and community leaders came medium.

there were significant differences at (α=0.05) a mong the means of the perceptions of the study sample subjects attributed to sex variable, in favour of female, the variable for years of experience, in favor to more than 10 years, for the academic qualification variable in favor of the bachelor’s degree and the job position variable in favor of academic leaders.

the study recommended the necessity of investing internal resources in the university, such as research laboratories and agricultural lands in it, in order to return additional financial income to it.
