Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the reality of institutional effectiveness at the Jordanian public universities from the point of view of the faculty members.

the study used the descriptive methodology and developed a questionnaire consisting of (24) items.

the validity of the tool was verified the sample of the study consisted of all university faculty members (400) ,the sample were selected in a simple random method.

the study results showed the reality of institutional efficiency at the Jordanian public universities from the point of view of the teaching staff members was medium, the results showed significant differences at the level of significance (α= 0.05) in the estimates of the sample members of the study of the reality of institutional effectiveness at the Jordanian public universities from the point of view of the faculty members due to sex variable and were in favor of males.

and in college type in favor of scientific colleges, the study recommended giving attention to the issue of institutional effectiveness by the heads of universities and academic leaders, and the need for universities to adopt effective institutional policies that contribute to university advancement and enhance their institutional efficiency.
