Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the levels of job security among private school teachers at Irbid governorate and to examine level of job performance among them from school principals point of view also to identify the relationship between job security and performance.

to achieve the aim of the study, the descriptive analytical design was used as a job security and job performance questionnaires methodology distributed on (111) school principals.

validity and reliability for both instruments were obtained.

the results of the study showed that job security level among private school teachers was high.

it was found that job performance level was moderate.

the result of the study indicated a positive, but insignificant, correlation between job security and job performance.

in light of the results, the study recommended the need for developing some performance appraisal measures that are based on clear indicaters able to reflect the true job performance level among private schools teachers.
