The study aimed at investigating the role of sports media to reducing psychological anxiety among players of premium class volleyball clubs in Jordan from their point of view, The study sample comprised of (71) players, who were intentionally selected from the population of the study.

The descriptive methodology was used.

A questionnaire was developed to measure the role of sports media in reducing psychological anxiety among players of premium class volleyball clubs from their point of view.

It consisted of four dimensions (rewards, coach, social and abilities dimensions).

The results showed that the level of sports media to reducing psychological anxiety among players was medium.There were statistically significant differences for the role of the sports media in reducing psychological anxiety due to qualifications variable in favor players who had Diploma and less.

The findings also indicated that there were no significant differences for the role of the sports media in reducing psychological anxiety attributed to experience variable of the players.
