The role of the competent appeals committee in investment promotion, between efficiency and limitsIn order to modernize the mechanisms for settling investment disputes, Law n° 16-09 relating to the promotion of investment approved the role of the appeals commission, giving it the power to examine appeals brought by any investor who considers himself aggrieved as to the granting of advantages, by any administration or body responsible for the implementation of the law on investment, or subject to a withdrawal or a forfeiture procedure.

Admittedly, this remedy is governed by certain rules, which constitute guarantees for the investor and protect him from the competent administration in the matter, and allow him to obtain a rapid settlement of his dispute at the lowest cost.

However, they remain insufficient to affirm the effectiveness of the role of the appeals committee in settling these disputes
