Abstract EN

Algeria experiences a critical, decisive phase of its history made of political transition and economic openness.

As a consequence, the country faces several challenges in its post unrest situation to secure the political stability, build solid and reliable institutions, and maintain a social balance.

This article will aim to address three points: the development path and democracy and the impact they might have on the peace building and Nation State establishment, then deal with the rentier state crisis and its effect on politics and economy and finally, we'll discuss obstacles hindering Algerian political stability and economic security.
