Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to examine the situation of the labor force in Algeria, using the various statistical data, especially those related to the labor force in Algeria in its type of employment and unemployment and its various distributions.

- The increase in the percentage of employment in the public sector in Algeria when compared to the countries of the world: 11% in the world, while the average in Arab countries is 17.

- The correlation between employment in the public sector of Algeria in several factors, the most important of which is the modest role of the private sector as a result of inadequate business environment and the advantages offered by the public sector compared to the private sector in terms of difference in wages and job security.
