Abstract EN

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between government expenditure and unemployment rate measured by the Proportion of members of the workforce who do not have a job but are available to work and are looking for jobs in Algeria during the period (1990-2018), to achieve this goal The researcher also adopted various econometric models to study the impact of the government expenditure on unemployment rate through using the statistic data in Algeria.

Through this research, we reached several important results of which is cointegration relationship between public expenditure and unemployment rate, in addition to public expenditure negatively affects the unemployment rate.
