The current era characterized by the rapid pace of technology and innovative processes and the emergence of new products with a very short life cycle, where it became necessary for the success and continuity of business organizations that are active in a changing and complex environment full of uncertainty to adopt new models and methods appropriate to the nature of this stage, As the closed innovation model used by those organizations in the development of their products and work tools is no longer sufficient to meet the global challenges of resources and different knowledge owned by the community, it became difficult to face the complexity of the external environment relying on resources and self-skills, therefore the Business organizations have had to move from closed innovation to an open model that will get benefit from its application through the available innovation resources in their environment to improve the research and development process outputs.
