أزمة المواطنة في المجتمع العراقي المعاصر: دراسة اجتماعية ميدانية من وجهة نظر أفراد المكونات الاجتماعية في محافظة نينوى

Abstract EN

The research aims at knowing the concept of citizenship and its dimensions and theories and at the same time to uncover the reasons leading to the citizenship crisis in communities that have religious national and ethnic diversity in Iraqi society.

The researchers have relied on the methodology that adopts social survey to study a sample of religious and national components in Nineveh Province; This sample to my view points may represent by no means the true reality of the province.

The research has five paragraphs.

The first paragraph includes a methodological frame work while the second paragraph which comes under the title of theoretical approach of citizenship includes: 1-the different dimensions of citizenship 2-theoretical frameworks which explain citizenship.

3-the reasons which lead to the citizenship crisis and social instability in Iraq.

4-Citizenship in Iraqi society.

The third paragraph determines the procedures of research and methodology while the fourth paragraph is about the analytical study that ensures the results of quantitative analysis and interpretation of the results in the light of research.

The researchers have reached several important conclusions which offer some recommendations and suggestions that may overcome the crisis of citizenship and to promote social stability and world peace.
