This study aims to highlight the impact of public investment in the infrastructure of the transport and communications sector on economic growth in Algeria during the period (2000-2017) using the ARDL model in the standard study.

As the growing interest in public investment in infrastructure in Algeria, and in light of the efforts made by the state, and through the emergence of many development programs, public investment in these infrastructures for the transport and communications sector still faces many difficulties and remains weak and neglected despite the availability All the appropriate factors, so this sector must be saved by investing in it to support the domestic product in large proportions.

It has been concluded through this study that there is a reciprocal effect between public investment in the infrastructure of the transport and communications sector and the gross domestic product, and the existence of a short-term relationship between the two variables.
