This research paper aims to study the relationship between the interest rate and the exchange rate in Algeria during the period from 1995 to 2019, and to determine whether a sudden change in the interest rate would cause fluctuations in the exchange rate of the Algerian dinar, with the help of some standard study tools And represented by the self-regression ray VAR model, where the study concluded that the exchange rate of the Algerian dinar responds to changes in the interest rate over the study period and in the long term.
