Abstract EN

The study seeks to know the Attitudes of Algerian journalists towards media coverage of the Corona pandemic through mobile journalism, and to diagnose this new phenomenon, by addressing the reality of using mobile journalism in Algeria, in addition to identifying the motives and needs of Batna wilaya journalists through media coverage of the Corona pandemic, as well as Gratifications achieved through it.

For the purpose of studying this phenomenon, the researcher used the descriptive approach to study the phenomena by doing the description in a scientific way, and then reaching logical explanations that have evidence and proofs that give the researcher the ability to set specific frameworks for the problem, and this is used in determining the results of the research, and we also relied on the questionnaire form to measure Attitudes of journalists of Banta wilaya towards media coverage of the pandemic issue.

This study attempts to reach accurate and clear results between mobile journalism as a new communication activity and the uses of journalists for it, as well as the manifestations of these uses of various kinds and forms during the time of the Corona pandemic.
