Abstract EN

Administrative and financial corruption is one of the most serious problems that hinder development and urban development.

This phenomenon represents a devastating scourge for all sectors.

The current research aims at addressing the problems of administrative and financial corruption, which suffer from most of the Iraqi institutions, and testing the effect of the organizational structure on (official, specialized, central) in reducing administrative and financial corruption.

The research field was represented by the Education Sector.

The Directorate of Education of Najaf Governorate was selected as a research society.

The sample consisted of (33) individuals.

Data were subjected to statistical analysis through a set of ready-made programs (spss, v.15).

The results showed that there was a macro-level correlation between the research variables organizational structure and administrative corruption.

The research reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which is that one of the causes of administrative and financial corruption lies in the organizational structures that are characterized by routine and limit the powers of the higher administrations, and weak communication system.
