This study aims to address the topic of "Eastern Mediterranean gas and the strategy of regional and international powers", as the Eastern Mediterranean Basin region enjoys a great geostrategic importance, due to its geopolitical economic components and great mystical wealth that qualified it to be the subject of political and legal conflicts between the countries bordering the Eastern Mediterranean over the demarcation of The maritime borders, and causes the increasing discoveries of oil and gas fields, in addition to the historical differences that exist between the countries of the region, and accordingly this study aims to study the impact of natural gas discoveries on the strategy of regional and international powers, as the region is seen as the future of gas production in the world, by controlling the Natural gas reservoirs or control of gas transmission lines.

Finally, the study came to the conclusion that the gas discoveries caused a shift in the balance of power and changed the geopolitical map of the region, turning it into a global energy center, or a focus of regional and international conflict
