Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the impact of strategic thinking patterns in performance through the intermediary role of the flexibility of capabilities in that relationship in the Jordanian private universities.

The study model and hypotheses were built based on the literature of the study, as well as the use of previous studies in the development of study standards.

A questionnaire was designed for data collection, where (237) questionnaires were distributed, and (231) of these questionnaires were retrieved with a recovery rate of (97.46%).To verify the reliability of the data, the study used Alpha Cronbach test, the path analysis technique, and the structural equation modeling to test the hypotheses.

The most important results include the existence of a significant positive relationship between the impact of strategic thinking patterns and financial performance, in addition, the flexibility of capabilities mediates the relationship between the patterns of strategic thinking and institutional performance.
