Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the degree of future anxiety and its relation to the work orientation of the university students at the Faculty of Science and Literature in Balqarn.

Study Sample: The study was conducted on a sample consisting of (200) students of the college.

The questionnaire consisted of (31) items distributed at the level of the scale of the first axis: concern of the future, and the second axis: the trend towards work among university students.

The results showed that There were no statistically significant differences between the arithmetic averages of the responses of the sample of the study sample in the trend variable towards the work according to the specialization variable, age, academic year, and cumulative rate,and there are statistically significant differences between high and low future concerns in the direction of action for the benefit of future low-interest workers in the direction of employment.The researcher recommended to Provide some educational and psychological methods that can contribute to the development of students' optimism and reduce their anxiety.
