The current research aims to identify the degree of availability of critical thinking skills in the book of literature and texts for the sixth grade literary (analytical study) in the poetic topics contained in the book of literature and texts, and for the purpose of achieving the goal of the research, the researcher reviewed the literature and studies dealing with the analysis of books and critical thinking, the researcher prepared a list of thinking skills the critic, and then presenting it to experts and specialists in Arabic language curricula and methods of teaching; In order to express their opinions and observations therein ,After the researcher reached through his research in analyzing the content of the book of literature and texts and monitoring the repetitions of critical thinking skills and their percentages, that most of the material included the skill of inference This is due to the emergence of an indicator with a high percentage, as it reached (36.84%) of the book’s content, which indicates the availability of this skill relative to the rest of the critical thinking skills, followed by the skill of knowing assumptions, which was available at a rate of (26.31%), while the other skills were less than these two The two skills are relatively, where the percentage of the skill of interpretation was (23.68%) and the percentage of the skill of deduction (13.15%), while the percentage of the skill of evaluating discussions was (0), which is not available with a sufficient percentage in the critical thinking skills included in the content of the book of literature and texts for the sixth grade literary Published in the year 2019-2020, the eleventh edition, and in light of these results, the researcher recommended several recommendations, including: - Adopting critical thinking skills as a criterion in building and developing books of literature and Arabic grammar because of the importance of these skills in the lives of students.
