أزمة فيروس كورونا و تداعياتها على الأداء الإعلامي في ظل أخلاقيات مهنة الإعلام بالجزائر : دراسة وصفية تحليلية

Abstract EN

This study seeks to research the performance of Algerian journalists to cover the corona pandemic during the early periods of the virus‘s spread in the world and in Algeria by trying to determine the media coverage of this health crisis and to display the most important rights and duties to devote the regulations and the principles of the media profession ethics and this is after the Algerian media found itself in front of many challenges such as the necessity to keep pace with events and to achieve the scoop on the one hand, and the keenness to apply professional regulations on the other hand.

This study uses the descriptive and analytical approach to read the legal texts enshrined in the media legislation and the international and national conventions, and to analyze the most important articles on the ethics of the media profession to reveal the extent of their employment in the field of media coverage of the corona pandemic in Algeria within the framework of duties and rights.

As a results of the study : The Algerian media knew some professional confusions and errors at the beginning of the virus‘s spread in Algeria because of the lack of experience in dealing with this type of crisis, and some journalists waived some rights to access information sources to serve the public interest.
