Abstract EN

This research paper aims to highlight legal solutions to disputes related to contracts and obligations resulting from the Corona Virus (Covid-19) pandemic.

The study showed that this global epidemic is an obstacle to the execution of many contracts and obligations.

This led to the need to search for appropriate legal solutions, in the ence of an explicit text addressing the same topic.

The study concluded that the Corona virus pandemic is considered a force majeure or fortuitous event in certain cases, and an unpredictable event in other cases.

Therefore, the provisions of exclusion of liability for a foreign cause, or the provisions of the contractual rebalancing of unpredictable event, in accordance with Article 107/3 of the Civil Code, can be applied whenever the conditions for applying each of them are met, and in addition to applying other legal provisions that the judge deems appropriate.
