Abstract EN

The study aimed to find out the relationship between self-compassion and psychological well-being among parents of children with mental disabilities, and also aimed at knowing the predictive value of selfcompassion in predicting psychological well-being among sample members.

The study sample consisted of (20) parents of children with mental disabilities.

The study used the self-compassion scale prepared by Neff, 2003 (translated and codified / Siham Abdel Ghaffar Aliwa (2017), and the psychological well-being scale prepared by the researcher.

The study found a positive correlation between self-compassion and psychological well-being in the study sample, and the study also concluded that psychological well-being can be predicted through self-compassion.
