In light of the great increase in consumer products and their manufacture with sophisticated and complex scientific techniques, and the growing potential for risks to consumer security and health, it has led countries of the world to consecrate the precautionary principle from the environmental field to the field of consumption in their domestic laws, including Algeria, to confront the food risks and health crises that may be threatening consumer health and safety.
