Abstract EN

The aim of the research: to identify the reality of the sources of self-financing of sports facilities in the Palestinian universities in the West Bank.

The research sample: The researcher used the descriptive approach (survey method) with its steps and procedures, due to its relevance to the nature and objectives of the research by describing what is an object, analyzing it and extracting facts from it.

And administrators, employees and supervisors in Palestinian universities in the West Bank, at the rate of (30) people for the exploratory study, and (80) people for the basic study
The most important results:

There is effective control over expenditures on the maintenance and operation of sports facilities at the university.

The university needs to increase self-financing sources to meet the continuous increase in the number of students practicing sports activities.

The current political situation affects the provision of self-financing to universities.

The blockade on the West Bank affects the increase in self-financing.

The siege by the occupation forces affects the operating hours of the university's sports facilities.

There are internal regulations governing the workflow of university sports facilities.
