The untitled research : “taking fatwas on social media in the shadows of the prophet’s Sunnah-diagnosis of reality and warning about consequences” aims at clarifying the concept of fatwa through social media sites, illustrating the danger of daring to fatwas from incompetent people, and highlighting the legislative inimitability of the prophetic Sunnah through indications of diagnosing the reality of daring to give fatwas through social media sites and a warning of its dangerous consequences.

the research reached a number of results, the most important of which is that social media sites have provided all their users, free platforms to express their opinions and beliefs through their virtual mini-communities.

so, abnormal fatwas and misleading opinions spread.

this was indicated by some prophetic hadiths that contain signs that have been achieved in today’s world, such as the convergence of time, and the getting rid of knowledge and the quick transmission of wrong fatwas, the death of scholars and the issuance of fatwas by the ignorant.
